GETTING TO CASTLE SCHOOL

From North via 93: 93-S to exit 30 in Somerville. Follow south on Mystic Ave. for about a mile. Bear right onto McGrath Hwy at 5th light (green arrow) and follow to left over a bridge. Take an immediate right onto Washington St. (Sunoco station). Turn right at light and then left at post office. Follow the road off to the right, but stay in left lane, and take a left at the light onto Webster Street (church on corner). Follow to second right, turning onto Prospect, and then at the 4th light turn right onto Mass. Ave. After passing City Hall on right, take 3rd right to Lee St. Castle is on near right corner of next intersection (Harvard) with small parking lot on Lee.
From Northwest: Take Route 2-East and exit at Cambridge (signs to Rte. 2, 3, 16 and Watertown, Boston). Follow 2-East over a bridge, past Fresh Pond Mall, around rotary. Cross Huron Ave. and Mt. Auburn St. to Memorial Drive, veering left onto Memorial Drive. Take left at light onto JF Kennedy and Harvard Sq. At 2nd light, turn right onto Mt. Auburn, and follow it until it ends and becomes Mass. Ave. Crate & Barrel store is on left. Continue about 1/4 mile. Turn left onto Lee St. Castle is on near right corner of next intersection (Harvard) with small parking lot on Lee.
From West: Take Mass Pike toward Boston. Exit left at Cambridge-Allston exit. Follow signs to Cambridge (right turn). Go straight--through lights, over the Charles River, up River St. about a mile to Central Square. Keep straight, cross Mass. Ave. (this is a set of lights where traffic becomes very congested) and at the next light, just past Bread & Circus, take left onto Harvard St. Castle is at 2nd complete intersection on left-hand corner. Park on street, get permit from Castle.
From Central Square and Back Bay: Take Mass Ave. west toward Harvard Square. Pass City Hall on right and take 3rd right after City Hall onto Lee St. Castle is on near right corner of next intersection (Harvard), with small parking lot on Lee.
Parking Note: In order to park on the street you must have a Visitor's Parking Permit showing in your windshield or you will get a $15 ticket. Get a permit from our office. You must sign it out and return it on leaving. PLEASE--Cambridge will not replace lost permits!
